Algumas falam demais, outras são maldosas e invejosas. Algumas são indiferentes. Sinto ódio das que são mentirosas e sofro com as que caluniam".
"Viva como as flores", advertiu o mestre.
"Mas como? Como é viver como as flores?", perguntou a jovem.
"Repare nestas flores" continuou o mestre, apontando os lírios que cresciam no jardim.
"Elas nascem no esterco, entretanto são puras e perfumadas.
Extraem do adubo malcheiroso tudo que lhes é útil e saudável, mas não permitem que o azedume da terra manche o frescor de suas pétalas.
Não é sábio permitir que os erros e defeitos dos outros a impeçam de ser aquilo que Deus espera de você".
"Precisamos entender que os defeitos deles, são deles e não seus.
Se não são seus, não há razão para aborrecimentos.
Exercitar a virtude é rejeitar todo mal que vem de fora.
Isso é viver como as flores.
Você não precisa focar nos erros alheios, justificando assim sua insatisfação com a vida e as circunstâncias.
Tire a boa parte do adubo que chega até você!
Seja uma flor cujo aroma é agradável aos que estão ao seu redor. Exale esse aroma.
Não deixe que o seu foco esteja no adubo.

If they are not yours, there is no reason for hassles.
Exercising virtue is to reject all evil that comes from outside. It is to live like the flowers.
You do not need to focus on the mistakes of others, thus justifying their dissatisfaction with life and circumstances. Take a good portion of the manure that comes to you!
Be as a flower whose aroma is pleasant to those around you. Exhale the scent.
Do not let your focus be in the manure.
