O Fim Depende Do Inicio / The End Depends On The Beginning

O fim depende do início e do meio.

The End Depends On the Beginning And the Middle

When we're not smart enough to learn from other people's mistakes we should at least be willing to learn from our own's. How can we expect a different result if we commit the same mistakes over and over again? Different behavior should take you to different results, right?

There is a parable in the Bible that I illustrates what I'm trying to explain. There were two different people that went to build their houses, and each one of them used a different method and planning. The first person took the time to sit down and calculate all the construction work, examined the ground and the best location to build his dream house, and finally he chose a very firm place, a rock for its foundation. On the other hand the second person did not take this person to plan anything. This person just wanted his dream house right away and did not care about calculating costs, foundation or location, but built his house where it looked better and more beautiful, on a very sandy place. They were both extremely happy that they finally had their dream come true.

Some time later (it can depend from one story to another) rain season came over that region and the house of the first person was intact because it had been built on a very strong foundation, a rock. However the house of the second person was completely destroyed because the soil was sandy and it was carried by the waters.

This is us. Did you know that anxiety is our worst enemy, it betrays us and it shows completely immaturity? Because when we let ourselves be governed by it we are unable to stop and analyze the "construction" and think reasonably. The beginning of anything and everything in life is really important because it is exactly the time we are building the foundation for everything we want for the future.

Do not blame anybody else, just remember that to rush is the enemy of perfection because everything that starts too fast might end too fast. If you go too fast you're gonna crash. Balance is the key. Next time, I would suggest you to dedicate much more time building its foundation. That way the chance that it will last forever is much greater.

Voce esta por cima ou por baixo? / Are you on top or at the bottom?

Ninguém me forçou a estar aqui, ninguém me plantou aqui, eu caminhei sozinha até aqui, e você também.
Jamais perca a esperança. Espere um milagre em sua vida. Espere coisas boas!

--------
Life goes round and around, one day you're on top and the next at the bottom, and who said that you even have the right of complain about your situation? It was nobody else but yourself who put you there! I am where I am and how I am only because my choices and actions through life (or the lack of them) brought me here. Nobody forced me, nobody planted me here, I walked all this way by myself, and so did you.
Our thoughts create our beliefs, which create our attitudes which give form to our lives. That is why you should be really careful of everything you think about. If something bad happens (it happens with good and bad people too) the way you read the situation and make your conclusions shows how your mind really works (in a positive or negative way) and gives you different results.
The positive person do not ignore that bad situation but she doesn't stick at it. This person is a trouble-solver, and she will look for different ways of finding a solution. The negative person on the other hand focuses on what went wrong, she blames herself or others involved. And never forget that whatever you focus expands.
Everything should be balanced and fairly even, in other words, we should all have a mind read to face whatever the outcome, good or bad. Hoping for the best and planning for the worst. We shouldn't let any situation control our happiness. Do not be frightened and afraid, have hope. Hope is the anchor of the soul, it is the strength that keep us firm during trials. Never lose hope. Wait for a miracle in your life. Wait for good things!
