O Fim Depende Do Inicio / The End Depends On The Beginning

O fim depende do início e do meio.

The End Depends On the Beginning And the Middle

When we're not smart enough to learn from other people's mistakes we should at least be willing to learn from our own's. How can we expect a different result if we commit the same mistakes over and over again? Different behavior should take you to different results, right?

There is a parable in the Bible that I illustrates what I'm trying to explain. There were two different people that went to build their houses, and each one of them used a different method and planning. The first person took the time to sit down and calculate all the construction work, examined the ground and the best location to build his dream house, and finally he chose a very firm place, a rock for its foundation. On the other hand the second person did not take this person to plan anything. This person just wanted his dream house right away and did not care about calculating costs, foundation or location, but built his house where it looked better and more beautiful, on a very sandy place. They were both extremely happy that they finally had their dream come true.

Some time later (it can depend from one story to another) rain season came over that region and the house of the first person was intact because it had been built on a very strong foundation, a rock. However the house of the second person was completely destroyed because the soil was sandy and it was carried by the waters.

This is us. Did you know that anxiety is our worst enemy, it betrays us and it shows completely immaturity? Because when we let ourselves be governed by it we are unable to stop and analyze the "construction" and think reasonably. The beginning of anything and everything in life is really important because it is exactly the time we are building the foundation for everything we want for the future.

Do not blame anybody else, just remember that to rush is the enemy of perfection because everything that starts too fast might end too fast. If you go too fast you're gonna crash. Balance is the key. Next time, I would suggest you to dedicate much more time building its foundation. That way the chance that it will last forever is much greater.
